Hello there.
Well blow me down, it’s the end of August already meaning tomorrow is officially the start of Spring. And what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than by dedicating the month of September to one brewery... Welcome to Sprig and Fern September!
These guys have so many lip smacking brews we just couldn’t choose, so, in a fleeting moment I thought it would be rude not to sample more than just one of their medal winning ales. Agreed? Tomorrow, officially the 1st, we’re kicking things off in style with the Sprig and Fern Scotch Ale. Deep ruby in colour, it’s brewed with six different malts, filled with warmth and a touch of smokiness. One sniff and you can tell how good this beer is going to taste, it’s going to go down a treat.
From an impressive brewery to an equally renowned vineyard, we’ve got Lake Chalice Vineyard Selection Merlot. Now I know we’ve sampled some of their wines before, but they’ve just got so many goodies it’s just hard not to go back for more! A more full bodied wine for you red wine lovers out there, it just oozes with plum and a hint of spicy oak. Trust me, this one is good.
