Hi there,

Well, well, well.  It's that time of the week again where we get our beer and wine tasting shoes on and sample something new and exciting.

The suspense built up a fair bit around our beer of the week on Saturday just gone at the acclaimed House Oktoberfest.  Due to some minor technical difficulties we were unable to add it to the list of guest ales for the day but we've since worked some magic and so alas!  We can pour it for your tomorrow!  What is it you ask?  Nothing else but the famous Hoffbrau Oktoberfest Brew .  Hold on to your socks, it will be on tap at 5pm. 

And on the wine front, we have a kiwi favourite - Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc.  You may or may not recognise the name from long ago controversial stories in the media (not that I'm one to gossip), but never the less, the vineyard is back on track and producing some mighty fine juice. 

And to add a little bit of fun into the mix tomorrow we're having a beer sale.  On our current guest beers that is.  We have a need to free up some guest taps so someone came up with this bright idea.  Great news for you.  So, from 7pm, selected guest beers will be only $8 per large glass.  So clear out all of your loose pennies from jean pockets, the secret stash in your sock draw, and the depths of the couch cushions because you are bound to find a bargain or two.
